We are receiving the following error when running a SQL query through an ODBC connection on a windows box to a UNIX server.
ORA-29283: invalid file operation
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_FILE", line 475
ORA-29283: invalid file operation
ORA-06512: at line 477
The same query file works just fine when run directly on the server. The file referenced is located on the server and does exist and we have done a chmod 777 on the file to ensure permissions are as broad as possible.
We are using Oracle 10G. The oracle account running the SQL is the same whether it is run from the server or the odbc connection.
