ORA-00911: Invalid Character when running "ANALYZE INDEX index_name VALIDATE STRUCTURE;" command
Experts,
I am trying to execute the following command on a oracle 8.1.7 database. I took the syntax from an O'Reilly Oracle Admin. Handbook, but I keep getting the same error. Please help.
SQL> analyze index SAPR3.CCC_CHECK~0 validate structure;
analyze index SAPR3.CCC_CHECK~0 validate structure

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00911: invalid characte
