Question

rdf

Rating5.8Good

I have rdf that I have compiled and now I have the rep file ; when I run the file from Report builder, its asks for 2 parameters
1. customer_id
2. path where the output(which is a csv file) needs to go to.

These parameters will not change, and they are the same every time I run the rdf file. This report runs everry day . SO I want to know how to schedule it in my task manager, so that I do not have to manually go in and run it from the report builder evwery day. Please let me know how to do this?? Pl. explain in detail with an example.

When the group column changes the group number resets at 1, e.t.c. How can I get the page numbering of every group and display it on the layout? Thank you in advance!
  4. Runtime Parameter in Report Builder
Hi there folks, I was wondering if we can have the option of choosing at runtime from the report builder parameter so that if the end-user selects 'Yes' then the report will run one specific query and if he chooses 'No' then another particular query is invoked. What I mean to say that by choosing between Yes and No at runtime one should have the option…
  5. Tracing .RDF executions
I am trying to debug a .rdf report that is in Production so I am unable to insert debug statements into the report code. Is there anyway to generate debug messages to trace the execution of an .rdf report through the application? I need to be able to see what is going on within each block of the .rdf instead of the compiled SQL that is happening outside of the …
