I have rdf that I have compiled and now I have the rep file ; when I run the file from Report builder, its asks for 2 parameters
1. customer_id
2. path where the output(which is a csv file) needs to go to.

These parameters will not change, and they are the same every time I run the rdf file. This report runs everry day . SO I want to know how to schedule it in my task manager, so that I do not have to manually go in and run it from the report builder evwery day. Please let me know how to do this?? Pl. explain in detail with an example.

  1. Runtime Parameter in Report Builder
Hi there folks, I was wondering if we can have the option of choosing at runtime from the report builder parameter so that if the end-user selects 'Yes' then the report will run one specific query and if he chooses 'No' then another particular query is invoked. What I mean to say that by choosing between Yes and No at runtime one should have the optio…
  2. Report Builder 6i: How to get the Group Page N…
Hello! I have a report and I need to get the page number of the group. I mean I have a repeating frame grouped by a field. Every group may have 1,2,3,4... pages. When the group column changes the group number resets at 1, e.t.c. How can I get the page numbering of every group and display it on the layout? Thank you in advance!
  3. Displaying server date as run date in Oracle Rep…
In Oracle reports, when you print the run date as the Current date, the date is of the machine from which the report is running. But, we want this to be the server date. We are on Reports 6i and are running the reports in client-server mode. The report rdf file runs from the client, only data is fetched from the server
  4. Can I run an automated report using ORACLE DB…
I've created a schedule routine to delete rows from my stage table. Now, I need to use dbms_scheduler to send an email of a report. Is this possible? If not, Do you any other ideas? Thank you
  5. Need bat file to show Report Menu
I need to create a bat file that shows users choices to run specific report: IT should show Enter 1 for Report 1 Enter 2 for Report 2 Enter 3 for Report 3 and once they enter their choice there is a sql file that runs and generate a report in csv format. Can someone help me create a bat file or a sample? Thanks.
