Hi
I have ORACLE 10g installed. I have two schemas in it:

SCHEMA 1 : ATP
SCHEMA 2 : UPD

ATP has two tables: PRODUCT & PRICE with numerous columns.
UPD has one table : SALES

TODO:

1.      Insert in UPD.SALES column "Prod_Name" data  from ATP.PRODUCT column name PRODUCTS

2.      Insert in UPD.SALES column "PRICE" data from ATP.PRICE column name "PROD_PRICE"

Can you give me sql statement to do this.

Note: Also can you tell me what does the numbers in the following data type means:

        NUMBER (2, 8)

Thank you in advance:)

Please suppose I have the string 'CLOUD'. I am using the Oracle schema called 'GOOFY'. I would like to find the name of the table (tables) which has (have) one or more column containing the 'CLOUD' value. What would be the best approach to solve this problem? Could you write a PL/SQL stored procedure in order to achieve this?
