I want to convert the SEARCH_CONDITION from the ALL_CONSTRAINTS table, which is a long to an string, that I can use the single SEARCH_CONDITIONs

  1. Converstion of long datatype to varchar datatype
    Hi, Is there any query or method to convert Long Datatype into Varchar Datatype in Oracle
  2. enabling foreign key takes long time
    Hello, before loading data using sql*loader I disable all contraints and the relevent tables and make the indexes unusable. After importing, I rebuild the indexes and then enable the contraints. It takes a long time to enable the foreign key constraint. Is this the correct way (disable/enable) to do this or is there another faster way?

    Need to be able to display or put into a variable an oracle long datatype I am doing a simple select blau from blau the blau is a long field and when doing a response.write or putting into variable it does not give data back to the page or transfer it to the variable.   5. SQL string manupilation
    I like a simple SQL change from long_string_in = A, B, C, D to a new string: long_string_out = SUM(A) A, SUM(B) B, SUM(C) C, SUM(D) ... Maybe something like the following, but not working. long_string_out = replace( long_string_in , ',' , ', SUM( ') Thanks.
