Cannot Add or Update records using MS Access forms

I'm using MS Access as a front-end to Oracle. One of the forms designed in Access is based on a query on just two tables. One table has the employee timesheet data and the other has employee names, etc. The tables are joined on employee ID.

The form displays the timesheet data as well as the name for each employee just fine. However, I cannot update or add a record using the form or even the underlying query.
